Music Video

I chose this music video because I love the indie feel to it and the storyline behind the music. It has action and romance and I love the contrast between both shown.

Denotation- What is it?

Representation- A description or portrayal of someone or something in a particular way.

Semiotics- Study of signs.

Connotation- What could it represent?

Audience- Anybody who consumes the media, is part of the audience.

Demographic- Classifies an audience into age, gender, race and other.

Psyho-graphic- Broken into banks depending on peoples jobs or status.

Target- The type of person an advert is aimed at.

Niche- The target of a narrower

The flames- This suggests that life threatening events occur due to the fact fire represent danger. This also suggests there could be action.

Face expressions- A serious expression in all their faces implying that the film isn’t a comedy and has serious topics. It could mean they're unhappy.
Font- Very straight lines are in the shape of block writing which reminds me of bricks. This shows it's like a maze.
Outfits- They are all wearing dark grey colours implying they are dirty or are wearing old clothes. It could suggest they have been in the desert for a while or are struggling.
Day time- We can tell it's set in the day time as its light and almost white. It could suggest that its early morning and that they have been tracking for days.
